What is JAMB Direct Entry?

Direct Entry (DE) allows candidates with advanced qualifications such as diplomas, NCE, IJMB, JUPEB, or degrees to gain admission into universities without writing UTME.

JAMB 2026 Direct Entry Requirements

To be eligible, candidates must have:

A minimum of 5 O’Level credits (WAEC, NECO, etc.) in not more than two sittings
At least two advanced level passes

Step 1: Create Your JAMB Profile

Use a unique phone number (SIM)
Send your NIN via SMS to 55019 or 66019 in this format:
NIN 12345678901
You’ll receive a 10-digit Profile Code

Step 2: Buy Your e-PIN

Take your Profile Code to any approved vendor (banks, NIPOST, etc.)
Pay ₦5,700
Your e-PIN will be sent to your phone

Step 3: Complete Registration

Visit a JAMB-accredited CBT centre or JAMB office
Provide your Profile Code and e-PIN
Capture your biometrics (fingerprints) and photograph
Print your registration slip

Registration can only be done once (no duplication)
